Winter Quail Cup 2025
The Quail Cup returns on Saturday, March 1st, 2025!
Event Format
Six rounds, ten questions each. Topics will be chosen by teams in a special process.
Scores resert to zero at the start of each round.
After each round, a number of top-scoring teams will advance to the next Quail Cup round. The other teams will join the Prize Pool Rumble.
After Round 1, 20 teams advance. Round 2: 16 teams, Round 3: 8 teams, Round 4: 4 teams, Round 5: 2 teams.
Round 6 will determine the Quail Cup Winner!
Prize Pool Rumble
When a team is eliminated from the Quail Cup, they join the Prize Pool Rumble, and can still win prizes, including cash up to $250.
All Rumble teams answer the same questions as the teams still competing for the Quail Cup.
Each round, the top scoring teams in the Rumble win prizes. These prizes cannot be won by any teams advancing to the next Cup round.
Rumble teams remain eliminated from the Quail Cup, but may win multiple prizes from multiple rounds.
Prizes
1st Place wins $500 and the Quail Cup trophy, custom engraved with team name
2nd Place wins $250

Team Registration
Registration is open from until 11:59pm on Thursday, February 27 2025.
Teams may register in-person at any Trivia Night or by private DM via Facebook/Instagram.
Each team may have up to 6 players.
Entry fee is $20 per player, and must be paid by 11:59pm on Thursday, February 27 2025.
Space is limited, and registrations may close when capacity is reached.
Venue Info
The Winter Quail Cup will take place at the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center.
The event officially begins at 6pm, but venue doors will be open at 5pm for teams to claim tables and to purchase food and drink.
Outside food and beverage is not allowed. SCCC will have several beverage options, including beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.
A TBD vendor will have food available for sale.
